meet mackenzie: my newest obsession.
i was introduced to this little gem last night and it was love at first sight.  this is a real diva like combine beyonce, mariah and damian of the omen and you get mackenzie.  just watch this:
words cannot truly express the genius that is harbored within this child.  how did a chain-smoking 70 year old southern diva get inside the body of a 4 year old girl?  i don't know.  i think she might be an alien.  give this girl her own tv show ASAP.
 oh the ni ni.
mackenzie is not having any of this bull.  give this girl what she wants or move out of her way!

Top Songs of the Month - December 2010

Adam's Top 10 Songs of the Month Play List

10. Adam Sandler - Chanukah Song Parts I-III
Even though Adam Sandler's career has gone down the tubes, at least he left us with this timeless classic.

9. Dobie Gray - Drift Away
A highly underrated classic. The subtle bassline and Dobie's soulful voice is a warm comfort for these cold December days.

8. OneRepublic - Secrets
As much as I try to hate this song I can not help but relisten. Way too catchy and the lyrics really are good. Lets see if this band can stand the test of producing two successful albums.

7. The Who - Eminence Front
One of my all time favorite songs. It makes the December Top 10 list because wheneve I hear it I picture a cold Russian winter and soldiers marching in the snow. Very cold war era - Weird, right?

6. The Gregory Brothers ft. Antoine Dodson - Bed Instruder Song
Number 3 on the iTunes R&B charts, 30 million YouTube hits and it got Dodson's family into a house. This tune is representative of the impact that viral videos can have on our culture.

5. Whip My Hair - Willow Smith
Everyone knows I have an unhealthy obsession with Will Smith. His music, his one liners and overall demeanor are one of the more humorous things that exists. The fact that he is marketing his children, in this case in a provocative way, is icing on the cake - and the cake is sweet.

4. K'naan - Take a Minute
I stumbled upon this song attached to one of my Top Pick's video. Apparently I have been missing out on the hugely successful Somolian born and Canadian raised rapper K'naan. He has worked with the likes of Mos Def and even had a song featured in the World Cup. This guy is the real deal and I look forward to hearing more in the future.

3. Eminem - 25 to Life
My first thoughts upon hearing this track was: "great, another narrative about how Marshall hates his relationship, boo hoo." I think he wanted us to think that. The twist being it is really about his experience with hip-hop culture and the lifestyle associated with it. Points for being clever and not to mention the lyrics are nothing short of great.

2. Mumford & Sons - Winter Winds
This track comes from one of those rare albums that I can not stop repeating all the way through. Throw in the festive theme and the amazing sound these guys achieve and it is obvious this has to be in the top 2 for December picks.

1. moe. - Together At Christmas
The best holiday song ever. A love song about braving a winter storm with a skillful instrumental from moe.. Does it get any better?

The Optimist Creed

I saw this posted in a nail salon while I was waiting to get my nails done. I felt like I should share it with you all, because everyone can use some optimism in their lives. Read it, think on it, and try to apply this to your life. I'm sure if everyone followed The Optimist Creed, the world would be filled with better people.

Promise yourself...
To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.

To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.

To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.

To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.

To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best.

To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.

To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.

To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

What are your thoughts on this creed?

Camera of Lego =)

Monday, December 27, 2010

I bought this today, because I think it's adorable! This Lego Digital Camera isn't huge. It only has 3 megapixels and holds 80 photos at one time. Haha kind of pathetic, but it's just so cute to me! This camera is more like a "bring to a get-together" type of camera, not a "bring to a wedding" type of camera. =) This thing doesn't take bad pictures either! It's pretty legitimate. So anyways, I simply wanted to share this purchase with you.

P.S. Sorry for looking a little creepy in this picture. =/

Have a good day!

Song: Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon. Yes, the entire album. I listened to it today. For the one thousand and oneth time. What makes it noteworthy is that I listened to the actual CD. Yes, the CD, not the mp3's from iTunes or streaming it on Grooveshark. This is my generation's version of throwing on some old vinyl. I also listened to the clever Dub Side of the Moon by the Easy Star All-stars yesterday. If you like reggae and Pink Floyd be sure to check it out.

News: Bank of America buys up nasty domain names. Classic!

Websites: I think I might have to build my own website with Christmas money after the New Year. I have no knowledge of web design so I think I might use SquareSpace.

TV Series: My Dad gave me the new Family Guy dvd Partial Terms of Endearment that was supposedly banned from TV? I will check that out sometime this weekend.

Video: Paint/sound sculptures.
One of the cooler things I have seen in a while.

Nathalee Illustrations

So, I was blog-surfing, and I came across this blog called Nathalee Illustrations. When I say I was blown away, I couldn't possibly be more sincere. Natalia Nazimek, the Polish-native, is currently studying Graphic Communications and Illustrations in the United Kingdom.

Some of you may be familiar with her work (because I saw it featured on http://themessenger-bag.blogspot.com/), but this post will just be dedicated to showing a few pieces of her artwork. Prepare to be amazed, because this is insane.

Natalia started off learning with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Coral Draw. This is truly an inspiration to me. She has worked for magazines, advertisement agencies, brands, musicians, and fashionistas. Natalia also has worked with individual clients from Poland, the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, and France. Natalia is also working on a T-Shirt line!

Be sure to check her out at http://nthlee.blogspot.com/!

KDRAMA POST: mary stayed out all night!

Wednesday, December 22, 2010

mary stayed out all night AKA marry me mary is the newest kdrama to capture my heart.  it's really not that hard to capture my hear cuz i pretty much love anything that adorable and MARY is adorable!  here is a trailer (warning no english subs):
ok so you don't have to know korean to pretty much understand the underlying theme of the show.  all these shows have a little mischievous plot that revolves around love.  so mary's dad is in money trouble, he wants her to marry his best friend's son who has paid off her debts.  marry meets kang moo kyul who is an indie rocker.  YES KOREAN INDIE ROCK???  this is the first glimpse of "hipster counter-cutlture" i have witnessed thus far on these dramas. but like most the other dramas this love story becomes a love triangle and transforms into a square...it might transform into a love hexagon but i am only on episode 5.

why do i love this show? the fashion!

the whole cast has pretty bomb ass style! (except for the girl on the left.  she dresses like a slutty witch most times).

mary always has like a million adorable layers and mix match prints.  she has a look of effortless style and i can't say i am not jealous.  WAHHHH!!!

and is it weird that i am jealous of moo kyul's style too???  he has the dark lint colored layered look.  i want all his layers.  i love jang geun suk though!  he is so great on this show and he was the star of you're beautiful, the last show i watched.  he pulls off asshole really well and i like it.

the other draw is mary's hair!  i am getting my hair cut in a couple days and i want to get a modified mary look.  i need extensions and like tons of poof.  her curls are more relaxed than mine (because they are fake) and her hair is bigger.  I WANT BIG HAIR AND BRAIDS.
GIMME THIS CRAZY CUTE LIFE.  i am trying...i will get there.
this post is moo kyul approved:

Top Picks of the Day - December 21st, 2010

Well, we are half way through the short work week. The holiday music is on every station, the mall parking lots are war zones and the amount of wrapping paper being consumed in my house might break a world record. Oh, and I remembered that I know how to embed videos, so now you can simply click the play button on my page. Tomorrow I will be posting a full feature entry. Until then, enjoy.

Song: Childish Gambino - Untouchable. I know I told you last week to check this guy out, but I decided that maybe a specific example was in order for all the lazy people.

News: Only in Florida could this happpen. How to beat a DUI in the technology era.

Websites: StumbleUpon  I have known about this site for a while and used it one or twice, but I have finally joined and delved into the concept. I came out on the other end with one thought: this is really cool. If you have yet to get your stumble on check it out.

TV Series: I really want to get the entire Alf seasons on DVD. Consider it added to my wish list.

Video: Human beings never cease to amaze me in what they are willing to try and then how good they can be at something. These guys attached flyer parachutes to them as they ski down a huge mountain and get fully airbourne. Next level type stuff here.

Superior, Speed Fly from Marshall Miller on Vimeo.

Net Neutrality: My Message to Representative Ron Klein

Tuesday, December 21, 2010

If you are unfamiliar with what this is all about, please read this article, this article and this article. For everyone that doesn't really care, I get it. But if you do, here is how I did it:

Find your Representative here: http://www.contactingthecongress.org

Write them a message via their e-mail. Here is what I wrote.

The following information has been submitted:

Name: Mr. Adam E Smith

E-mail: theadamesmith@gmail.com

Message Text: Good morning Congressmen Klein, I won't waste much of your time but I felt obligated to stress how important it is that you oppose anything that violates Net Neutrality. Please speak openly and vote in such a way as to protect the tens of millions of Internet users - and uphold the 1st Amendment of the Constitution. If you have any amount of influence with the FCC can you please exercise it in order to avoid what could potentially be extremely harmful to the public at large. Thank you for your time now and in the future.

It may not do anything - highly likely, but it takes 5 minutes at best and who knows, maybe formally complaining before it happens will be more productive than bitching about it on after.

Oh hey, Madison!

Yeah, I know this is a pretty nice handbag. The Madison Patent Sophia Satchel by Coach (one of my favorite brands) is indeed very chic. This handbag has a modern take on vintage style. Modern vintage (haha oxymoron)!

The handbag is made up of extra smooth patent leather. Inside, it has a pocket zip, a cellphone pocket, and multifunction pockets. It has fabric lining, and closes on top with a zipper. The handbag has a detachable strap for shoulder wear with a 14 inch drop, and handles with a 5 inch drop.

The colors featured here are: Crimson, Blue, and Brass/Camel. The handbag was just recently featured on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on her last Oprah's Favorite Things show. The handbag is priced at $358.00.

Hope you like this bag as much as I do!

The Cold War II: Info-terrorism in the 21st Century (just kidding)

Monday, December 20, 2010

My original intention was to edit this down and present a more polished post. After a day or two of thinking about it I decided that I would go with a more free form publishing method that pretty much captures my stream of thought in one continues moment - sort of Gonzoesque. That being said, please ignore all spelling, grammar and logical errors but do let me know what you think.

Over the weekend I made it to my local theater for the release of Tron: Legacy. I will spare you the semi-negative review for two reasons - no body cares what I have to say about their grossly successful blockbuster movie and it really wasn't that bad. It was more of a "it was too long and they spent a lot of the budget on the CGI" type thing. Despite that, I will give a nod to Disney for prophetically green lighting this project a year and half ago. The amount of timely undertones and relevant messages, many not very Disneyesque in nature I might add, are almost overwhelming. From child abandonment and spoiled reckless youth sticking it to the man - the man being the company the protagonist majority owns but is too immature to run (so in essence sticking it to himself?), to mega-corporate greed and the threat of information monopolies and technology abuse; the pseudo-Tronian film served as more than a visual stimuli 3 layer (of dimensions) chocolate cake. This film may one day be more representative of this era than can currently be recognized.

Jeff Bridges drops a line in a short monologue about information being the key to power. It really struck a chord with me given the advent of Wikileak's mainstream infiltration the past few weeks as well as the rise of social media at the forefront of business, entertainment and art. The Grid is the location for which the perfect world is created within Tron world. The ultimate theme is that perfection in regard to life can not be created nor destroyed, but only observed. My immediate response to this was a comparison to the second life that many of us have created within our social networking circles. Mark Zuckerberg has been making some interesting moves lately - pledging to donate half his worth and also declaring his intentions to reformat the current entertainment climate. As a peer of his I understand the goal but I am not quite sure his intentions are pure. If he really wanted to clean up this societal construct why not destroy his own system - in this instance Facebook.

I have often thought about what the public reaction would be if Facebook decided to close the doors one morning. As a pessimist in an optimist's costume (Prime?) I assume that there would be mass hysteria and possibly even hostility. After the pandemonium died down people might come to grips with the fact that they were hopelessly addicted to a forum that literally serves no innovative purpose. If anything it has only devolved communication under the guise of efficiency. Humans were socially skilled long before communication was refined. By nature we gather to share time and promote our thought processes. For the first time in history our social interactions are packaged, formatted and circularly consumed to the extent that all aspects of our life need to be summarized on one digital page. Add in the privacy infringement, borderline Orwellian updates to facial recognition and the open market for serial stalking. The kicker is that we know this, accept it and really could care less.

I could care less. I am writing this and yet in another tab on the same window in Firefox I have Facebook open. I also intend on posting this on Facebook.

About a month before the movie release I was lucky enough to receive a copy of the movie's score done by French electronic DJ duo Daft Punk. I will go ahead and admit I am a fluffer when it comes to these guys, but what they put together was nothing short of impressive. A product of the awkward late '90s house and trance movement in the US and abroad, the group has managed to break past the barrier of fad and become one of the most revered enigmas in the music industry. The mystery is what draws me in. The lack of information and identity some how become the intrigue. Of course the music itself can stand on its own feet within the genre - but there are many just as talented electronic artists across the spectrum. Interestingly enough Daft Punk has always promoted a technologically infused themes - hell, they appear as robots on stage. At the same time, the message they send via subtle lyrics challenges the reliance on the same technology they encompass. A song titles like "Humans After All"  exemplify that even these electro-gods are still humans at heart and the point of all this is to create an energy between them and the fans - an idea that goes back to the genesis of music. The beat of a drum is so simple and primal yet serves as the cornerstone of modern electronic success.

I remember being in the theater and thinking about the lyrics to Daft Punk's "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" and my music-infused brain began connecting the dots until I reached the thought of Kanye West sampling the track for his famed Graduation album. Interestingly enough Mr. West released the critically acclaimed track Power  this year. The chorus includes a message that is both self-serving and observant of the artist surroundings: "No one man should have all that power." I wonder if Julian Assange ever second guessed himself. Don't get me wrong, I am a supporter of transparency and accountability when it comes to governing bodies - but it is obvious that this was a vendetta against the world at large as opposed to a noble move by a selfless media saint. He himself is a victim of the uncontrollable info-beast in his personal life. He may have once thought he had control, but he could never have imagined the magnitude of his WikiLeaks-bomb. For better or for less than better the story is now there and as Daft Punk puts it, "Television rules the nation." This is true, but what the Frenchmen did not see in their infinite wisdom is that the Internet rules the world. He who controls that forum wins.

This leads me back to the idea that we should not let any man have that much power. The leader of the free world should still practice humility. The king of the digital realm must put aside his personal aspirations - stop trying to create a new world and change this one Mark. We have these digital tools that are really a miracle and they are being used, if not abused, for all the wrong intents and purposes. Apparently we learned nothing from the dot com era bust when every major start up in 2010 was some how affiliated with social networking. Reinvention is not innovation when it is fractionally enabling more efficiency. These things are not the destination. We have finally made it here. Now it is time to make that second giant leap that Neil Armstrong could have never imagined was possible in 1969. /end rant

Euforia Kagetan

Sunday, December 19, 2010

'Bakar aja tu bendera PSSI'
'Nurdin Halid Goblok, mampus aja deh'
'Panitia brengsek.., ngurus tiket aja gak becus!!!'

Kita kaget, kaget terserang euforia.

Lupakan Gayus, pinggirkan dulu Merapi, biarkan saja dulu Nurdin, abaikan sebentar keistimewaan Yogyakarta.
Mari kita dukung Timnas...!!!

Lain dulu lain sekarang, katanya...

Menyedihkan sekali.

Top Picks of the Day - December 17th, 2010

Song: Lil Wayne - 6'7'' The return of the self-proclaimed greatest rapper alive. This hard hitting track features Cory Gunz and will be the first single from the long awaited Carter 4 due out in February (supposedly). Welcome back Wayne, and to put it in his own words, he "got through that sentence like a subject and a predicate."

News: Larry Flint seems to have an information addiction far superior to mine. I know that most would consider him less than noble given his past but I have to commend him for his undying efforts, and money, put towards facilitating democracy a la data. Viva Wikileaks Mr. Flint!

Websites: For all my fellow social network fiends, here is a cool tool I stumbled across called Ping.fm. You can update all of your social networks whenever needed. Its also free! Its like crack without the whole money thing.

Top Picks of the Day - December 16th, 2010

Friday, December 17, 2010

Good afternoon peoples. Is anyone else thirsty? I think tonight will be a World of Beer night. Anyway, today's Top Picks sort of took on a Wikileaks theme. This was not really intentional, but it seems that is is nearly impossible for a info-junkie to escape the 'Leaks. Enjoy!

Song: Savoy - Intro. "Music. Automatic." I am reeling in my anticipation for up-and-ragers Papadosio to come into my hometown and blow the doors off the newly renovated Hooligans Bar. Even though Savoy wins the song of the day with this hard hitting mix of dirty synths and scattered snares, the track is really serving to get me jazzed up about the show Saturday night.

News: Irony in a jar. Sweden exposed doing some sketchy stuff with the US. Kicker: via Wikileaks.

Websites: Sowhyiswikileaksagoodthingagain.com. If you are not a hopeless addicted news junkie like myself, this is a great site for Wikileaks cliff notes.

TV Series: Boardwalk Empire. Getting there...

Top Picks of the Day - December 15th, 2010

Good afternoon and happy Wednesday, or as the more risque might call it, Hump Day.

Here are the Top Picks for today:

Song: Childish Gambino Check out all of his albums and mixtapes. Actor Donald Glover from the great TV series Community is also a rapper. A friend of my brother Desmond suggested I check out Childish last night after dinner. I was playing them the new Lil Wayne track 6'7''. Although his flow does resemble Wayne  I like the word play and overall nerd hip-hop he has crafted. Look out for this kid in the future.

News: George W. Bush admitting his name is associated with the equivalent of legislative cancer. Good form W, I admire your honesty.

Websites: I am still waiting for my invite from Art.sy. In the mean time check out this Pandora-esque art genome project.

TV Series: I squeezed in one episode of Boardwalk Empire last night. At this rate I will finish Season 1 in time for the premiere of the next.

Video: The Brothers Mario movie trailer. The classic culture of Super Mario meets the graphic nature of Grand Theft Auto in a more than creative way.

Top Picks of the Day - December 14th, 2010

Wednesday, December 15, 2010

Hello Tuesday. I had some above-decent sushi at the Bluefin Sushi & Thai Grill for lunch so I am feeling mellow and meditative. To use a more American word - lethargic. Here are the picks of the day:

Song: Dobie Gray - Drift Away A solid feel good tune that comes to us from 1973. Some how Uncle Kracker's cover of Drift Away in 2003 reached a higher position on US Pop Charts than the near perfect original. Go figure! At least Gray was featured in the track as a member of a duet with Matthew Shafer.

News: What Twitter and Facebook Can Learn From Phish. Yes, this is a real article. It is also a real good article that pretty much touches upon the facets of life that encompass my existence at work and abroad these days. Do you think he is on to something or just an above-average writer that spends too much time on Phantasy Tour and Facebook.

Websites: Kickstarter.com is a pledge to the project style site that allowes product makers to post descriptions and then users can offer money in return for a peice of the pie when it is completed.

TV Series: Boardwalk Empire. Tonight is the night...maybe.

Video: Lego biker hit by a car. Short. Sweet. Instant gold.

Top Picks of the Day - December 13th, 2010

Tuesday, December 14, 2010

Happy Monday. It is abnormally cold down here in south Florida which means it is unbearable in the rest of the country.  Here are some things to get your week going.

Song: Blur - Song 2. Not a new song by any stretch but I have had the '90s Alternative station on Slacker Radio in constant play today. I guess I could say this is a nod to Damon Albarn for claiming he will seek sobriety, but in truth it is Monday and I really wish that the artificial wind in the music video would blow through the office right now. Everyone seems to need some energy today.

News Article: Uber-dangerous Mexican drug cartel most wanted collects pay for work as a school teacher. I wonder if La Tuta taught the Mexican rendition of D.A.R.E.

Website: Adding on to the list of websites high on my bookmarks bar is GrooveShark. This is a solid user-submitted music network that allows for streaming and playlist building that can then be sent and shared with friends on GrooveShark or even to their email address.

TV Series: Life got in the way over the weekend and I am still trying to lock down a few hours to complete Boardwalk Empire. Go ahead and throw your hate at me for slacking on such a great show.

Video: Baths - Lovely Bloodflow. This is a cool music video I stumbled across on an article page for work. It is a moving piece featuring an injured Samurai warrior trekking through the forest. What happens next is a blur between fantasy and spiritual realities mixed with a Donnie Darkoesque flare for brilliant creepiness. I am adding Baths to my listening rotation for down tempo vibe tracks.

i think this is a picture of paris and her sister i think at art basel.  damn for a second there i totally forgot her name, loser.  hahahahaha!  nicky? yeah well they were here last year or maybe the year?  truth is,  i don't even know where the picture came from but it has to do with art basel and i went last weekend.  i heard all these awesome things and it was pretty decent.  you know galleries and free shitty wine are always a good thing but i just expected more.  i think i would have to go with my friends cuz doing it with my bro was just not the same as getting shitty and making fun of people you know?  next time.

Top Picks of the Day - December 10th, 2010

Song - Mumford & Sons - Sigh No MoreDustbowl Dance: Anyone or any group that can pull of quoting Shakespeare and compares touring to Steinbeck is noteworthy in my book. This band and their genre usually reside outside of my favored listening sphere. Lyrically driven, instrumentally complex via simple acoustic devices - that transcend into a heavier realm in a subtle way. Among the best new bands to be produced in the UK and perhaps the world at large. Heavy rotation of their album Sigh No More for me this week and I suspect their Grammy nominations are an indication of its longevity in my Library.

I love The Doors more than a friend and think Jim Morrison is an icon and all, but, why? First of all, there was never any proof that he committed the crime in the first place. Second, if he did do it, that only fuels his rock star persona - he also would not have cared or "been bothered" by dealing with this. Lastly, I am digging the nod by Crist as a fellow Doors fan, but isn't there something else you could be doing as Governor of a State that could use a lot of help in many different areas? Just saying...

Website: Since this is the first installment of my Top Picks series, I will go ahead and name drop my favorite internet site in general: Fark.com. The best source of self proclaimed not-news in the whole news sphere. I am also particularly fond of the Politics and Music sections.

TV series: Boardwalk Empire. I plan to finish the series tonight. I have heard nothing but good to stellar things about the finale. I know, I know, why did I wait till now? I have no excuse.

THIS IS A MISFITS POST...among other things.

Wednesday, December 8, 2010

so i have this friend evelyn who is like an entertainment database and always full of suggestions.  i am the kind of person who gets bored really quickly and starts something but never comes back to it.  i have always loved british TV (mostly because i always wanted to be a british teenager) and about a year ago she suggested a lil show called MISFITS.  she was like, "it's like skins but with super powers."  unfortunately, i didn't take her up on this suggestions until last week.  i watched every episode ever (10 thus far and 1 new one comes out THURSDAYYYY) in a matter of 2 days.  yeah, it's that good and the music is the shit too.  i hate so sound cheezy but its totally like part x-men part breakfast club set in thamesmead.  it's killer.

here is a little preview of season 2 and just a little taste of what the show is like:
you know i have been watching so much korean tv i almost think korean is easier to understand than some of these british accents.  i love them but hot damn, what the hell are they saying???

further examples of awesomeness:

Sorry for being so distant!

Tuesday, December 7, 2010

Hey hey hey! I didn't post a thing this November, and I'm (almost) sad about it. It has been crazy busy life for me recently. but I have stuff to share with you all.

FIRST UPDATE:
While my family and I were in Detroit, our 2007 Yukon Denali was stolen out of a guarded and gated church parking lot. I'm not gonna go into details about the EYE WITNESSES of the whole ordeal, but the Detroit Police took forever and a day to get us some help.

When the truck was found (only 2 blocks from the church), it was pretty devastating. They stripped it down!

Here are some of the pictures:

We rented a Kia-something for a little while, and finally (with all thanks to God) we bought a new truck! The 2011 Yukon Denali we now have is bigger and better. =)

Though the new car makes my car seem very small, our family is blessed and very thankful to have the new edition to the family! (haha corny I know)

SECOND UPDATE:
I just recently came back from the most non-traditional Thanksgiving break ever. My family and I spent our Thanksgiving break aboard the Disney Magic cruise ship! It was simply AHH-MAZE-ING! The ship was HUGEEE, and the service was beyond incredible!

We were on the ship for a week, and we were never bored! Our three stops were St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Castaway Cay (Disney's Island).

In St. Maarten we did an ATV tour of the entire island and chilled on the beach. Some nude people were just walking around though...EW! In St. Thomas we bought necklaces and chocolate diamonds. Amazing shopping was done there. It was also my parent's anniversary that day, so we went out to eat. In Castaway Cay we jet skied, and my sister and I went parasailing! ATVing, jet skiing, and parasailing were all new activities for us. It was a lot of fun!

Plenty of fun was on the ship too. The purser who cleaned our room would leave some sort of animal on the bed (made our of towels) every night. We also had the same servers- Cedomir, Rodel, and Giorgio (I miss them very much) for breakfast and dinner everyday. There were three main restaurants: Animator's Palate, Parrot Cay, and Lumiere's (our favorite). There were also other buffets and food places throughout the ship.

Blaaah! There were so many other awesome things on that ship! I'd love to write more about it, but I'd be typing all day. Bottom line, Thanksgiving break was awesome, and I'm STILL struggling to get back to the regular reality routine. Looking back at all of this and being in this everyday life again just confirms that it's time for summer again...or at least Christmas break!

I hope that you enjoyed this post, and hopefully I won't be as distant in the near future. Have a good day. =)

~Nia A.D.L.
